FAQs and Help on Flash Virtual Tours, Java VR, and Quicktime VR (QTVR)

With VR movies and 360 degree virtual tours, you click and drag your mouse inside the image to spin it and move around. In some tours there are “hotspots” that allow you to click particular areas for more information. There are 3 types of formats used to build these virtual tours. Flash is the primary technology that drives our tours now. Flash Virtual Tours are able to be seen by the most computers around the world. You will need to have JAVA enabled in your browser settings to view JAVA tours. Quicktime, a free multimedia player from Apple for Macs or PCs, provides the smoothest playback for 360 degree virtual tours.
If you prefer to view QTVR movies you will need to have Quicktime installed.
